New For July - The Diptyque Eucalyptus Scented Candle

To celebrate the arrival of the summer season Diptyque have created a new candle called Eucalyptus.

Continuing the brands tradition of scouring the globe looking for a new and beautiful scent, they have taken an interest in the eucalyptus tree which flowers from the very first days of summer, up to the end of July. Commonly known as ‘the blue gum tree’, the evergreen tree has large creamy-white flowers. The scent comes under the herbal family - its bark and crushed leaves release a pleasant fragrance with camphor notes.

You can invest in your Diptyque Eucalyptus Candle in July from Diptyque stores and online which will be priced at £40 for the 190g size.

Scent Lust - Lolita Lempicka L'Eau Jolie

A new fragrance has just launched from Lolita Lempicka which has just become number one on my fragrance lust list - L’Eau Jolie, a fragrance that represents a modern-day fairy tale with a pretty bottle to match!

The scent has top notes of blackcurrant and nashi pear sprinkled with violet leaf. Heart notes include neroli, peony and peach blossom and finally base notes include musk, cedar and sandalwood that altogether create a gorgeous and fresh fruity-floral fragrance - perfect for the summer months. The gorgeous Elle Fanning was chosen as the face of the brand as she represents all that the fragrance embodies – something beautiful that unintentionally seduces.

The Lolita Lempicka L’Eau Jolie fragrance is available at House of Fraser and Debenhams and is priced at £28 for 30ml EDT and £40 for the 50ml EDT.

Oasis A/W13

Oasis recently had their press day showcasing their A/W 2013 collection and we are all in for a wonderful treat!

Inviting us to play with proportion and perspective, we can expect statement dresses, co-ordinated separates and top-to-toe tailored looks. Leathers work alongside perfect pony skins, knitwear is soft, chunky and chic and winter coats are beautiful (heart the trench coats). Subtle colour blocking weaves in and out of the collection and chevron details sit back with striking stripes. Animal prints are also key (heart the leather jacket with animal print below) and red lace makes a bold return.

Super chic and stylish items to look out for all pictured here! It is clothes like these that make the winter weather bearable.

NUDE Skincare ProGenius & The Perfect Cleansing Oil

A few weeks ago I popped into the lovely Langham Hotel for the launch of the new oil based skin care products from NUDE. We were greeted on entry with a champagne reception and the opportunity to have mini facials! We also had a chance to discuss all things beauty including the new Nude products with Florrie White, an international make-up artist with the highest calibre of celeb clientele including .Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Bosworth and Emily Blunt.
The two additional products being launched to an already incredible skin care collection are the Perfect Cleansing Oil and the ProGenius. The Perfect Cleansing Oil is a luxurious natural oil for the face and eyes, it melts into the skin and is designed to dissolve impurities, restoring the skins natural balance. It 's light and non-greasy so when you apply it you can combine it with a moisturiser (like I do) or mix it in with your foundation. I have been using it as an every day product along with Nude's Radiant Day Moisturiser and I have to say over the last three weeks I have really noticed the difference in my skins daily appearance. I feel like my skin looks super healthy and has a gorgeous glow that had been missing when using other skin care products in the past. This may also have something to do with Nude's hero product in its skin care range and winner of the 'Best Serum' in the Natural Health Magazine Beauty Awards - the ProGenius treatment oil. The oil is pure and active and instantly absorbs into the skin providing a deep skin cell nourishment. Wrinkles are reduced by up to 36% in just one hour and hydration is increased by up to 32% after 24 hours (both statistics provided by Nude) leaving skin naturally glowing. As this is a deep skin cell oil I use the product at night before I go to bed around 3 times a week as it can appear quite heavy for the day. Combined with the Perfect Cleansing Oil and Radiant Skin Moisturiser as per above I can genuinely notice the difference and cannot compliment this skincare range more!!
Invest in your Nude skincare products at John Lewis, Space NK, Selfridges London, Whole Foods Markets and online. The ProGenius Oil is £58 for 30ml, the Perfect Cleansing Oil is £28 for 100ml and the Radiant Day Moisturiser is £42 for 40ml.
