And the best show on day two of London Fashion Week comes from Jaeger, a collection of classics - each piece to die for. On the wet and miserable day (that I had planned to wear my suede platforms for but couldn't in the end for fear they would ruin), the fash pack, celeb sweethearts Olivia Palermo and Jameela Jamil, the chairman of the British Fashion Council Harold Tillman, and I headed to the BFC tent at Somerset House to be mesmerised.
Inspired by British Heritage, Stuart Stockdale’s muted colour palette was complimented by splashes of brightness in the form of, say a neon orange belt or blue socks for example. Tailored harem trousers, block colour boots, silk chiffon blouses and coats with fantastic collars in every style, from the simple trench to the heavy lapelled sheepskin number. Mustard outbursts were particularly welcome by me – Absolutely loved the mustard coat with oversized collar.
